As an Investors in People 'Silver' school, we believe that we not only unlock the potential of our children, but that of our staff as well. We have a robust, yet flexible, CPD programme that meets the needs of all members of staff. We provide a wide range of CPD in-house as well as making use of the excellent courses that are on offer to our school via Essex and other providers.
We have hosted several training sessions at our school and regularly invite specialists and other practitioners to deliver training for our cluster.
Our NQT programme is structured. Weekly mentor sessions and the opportunity to observe more experienced teachers is a large part of the NQT year. There are also specific and specialised NQT training sessions held across the cluster that our NQTs attend. NQT time occurs weekly in which further training is conducted.
