Teddy Bears Picnic - October

Our topic this half term is 'If you go down to the woods today'.  This week we have been having lots of fun learning with our teddies.  Yesterday afternoon we went outside and found lots of natural resources to make our crowns.  The children had sugar paper and PVA glue to make their crowns.  This afternoon we made a jam sandwich.  The children had a slice of bread each and listened well to the multiple instructions; to use the knife to spread butter on to their slice of bread, to use the knife to spread some jam, to fold their piece of bread into half and to cut their sandwich before placing it into the sandwich bag.

With our crowns, our sandwiches and our teddies, we went outside to the forest to have our picnic and sing our teddy bear song.
